Democrat Thompson, Republican Ott deserve the chance to vie for Cobb County Commission.

Cobb County voters will have to return to the polls Aug. 5 to decide their party nominees for two positions on the Cobb County Commission. In both races —- one Democratic and one Republican —- the challengers are better choices than the incumbents.

MARIETTA - It’s back to the campaign trail for incumbent District 2 Commissioner Joe Lee Thompson and Delta pilot Bob Ott.
